Should i wait for the 1080ti or get a 1080 now

I currently have the evga gtx 1070 sc
But i would like a upgrade because even the 1070 struggles to max out some games at 1080p at 60fps but i play at 1440p and would like a better more constant gaming experience.
So wait for the 1080ti or get the 1080???

If you have the cash, wait for the 1080 ti....the 1080 is around 600 dollars on amazon...the 1080 ti should cost double of that...

1080 shouldn't have much trouble with stable 60FPS on 1440p last time I checked.

Since you already have a 1070, I would wait for the GTX 1080 Ti. Your other option is to purchase a 2nd 1070, assuming the games you play have good SLI scaling.
