Hey! So my pc has alot of trouble loading into games. For example when I que up for an h1z1 game, it takes me about 2 mins to actually be in the game and play while everyone has started to play already. Another example would be when I load into battlefield 4 maps it takes me well over 4-5 mins. Not sure if this is due to my cpu? or my hard drive. My hard drive is 250gb's and I only have 64gb's left of storage. Would upgrading my hard drive make loading times faster? or would it be my cpu? because it is a bad cpu and im not sure if having a bad cpu can lower game load times. some one please help me!
my pc specs:
Cpu: AMD A8-7600 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor
Cpu cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T2 54.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-DS2H Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 250GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Graphics card: MSI GeForce GTX 1050 2GB GAMING X 2G Video Card
Case: Corsair SPEC-01 RED ATX Mid Tower Case
Psu: Logisys 480W ATX Power Supply

Hey there, Johny_Gee.

It's quite possible for those issues to be caused by your storage. First you should backup your important data if you haven't done so already, just to be on the safe side. This is a standard procedure whenever there's a possible problem with a drive.
After that go ahead and download the HDD manufacturer's diagnostic tool and run the tests to see what's the situation with your drive. If there are no errors or bad sectors, perhaps you could try it out with a different SATA port and cables, just in case it turns out to be a faulty connection.

If there's nothing wrong with the drive and the connection, it might be due to the performance of the HDD. Upgrading to a larger drive does not guarantee faster loading times...
Hey there, Johny_Gee.

If there's nothing wrong with the drive and the connection, it might be due to the performance of the HDD. Upgrading to a larger drive does not guarantee faster loading times. However, upgrading to a faster drive does, so keep in mind the drives' technical specifications when you're looking for a new one. An SSD will be the fastest option in terms of performance, but other than faster loading games and in-game loading screens, you won't see much benefit from it in terms of gaming.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.
