Some Intel B85 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Haswell Refresh CPUs.

Solution
Actually I just noticed it's for an i5 4460 which is an original Haswell. The i5 45xx and i5 46xx would be risky. You wont need to worry with that chip.
It means it may need a BIOS update before that CPU will work on that mobo

And if it does unless you can do it on a dead system, its not going to work.

Then you may have to take it to a shop and get them to flash it with a CPU that it does support.

Then put the CPU you want to use on the mobo

That mobo needs BIOS 2 on it to support the 4460

So if it isnt on it when you buy it, you may have to do the above

1150 Core i5 i5-4460(C0) Haswell-R 3.2GHz 6MB 84W P2.00

It means that the chipset of that board (the ?8??? series) was released with the first Haswell CPU's, and the new Haswell had their own chipset (the ?9??? series).

You just need to update BIOS first, which is simple. Just DL from motherboard website onto a USB and update, provided the board has a feature to let you update without CPU but that board does support new Ha\swells.
