Will the GTX 1050 work with DVI to VGA adapters?

I recently bought a MSI GTX 1050 2g OC and i only have a VGA monitor i bought a HDMI to VGA adapter but it says input not supported will this adapter work? http://www.lazada.com.ph/dvi-241-to-vga-male-to-female-adapter-for-hdtv-tv-white-1312809.html thanks for the reply btw im from the philippines so im sorry for my bad english

No. You need an active DVI-D to VGA, HDMI to VGA or Displayport to VGA.
