I want to upgrage my old pc therefore I selected a core2duo e8500. I also have selected 2 graphic cards
Gtx 750ti
And rx 460

I want to ask that does the cpu bottlenecks these graphic cards? How the gaming performance is affected? And what are the other options for graphic cards I can buy which is under rupees 9k?

P.s. I am a student so don't tell me to upgrade because I don't have that much money

Thank You

Hello... well... good question... But the problem happens that some older MB will not take or can be programmed to Jump to a Nvidia 1000 series? I have not done a test to verify? B / it hurts sometimes but companies get a time limit of support on a product, and you cant get BIO's update to communicate with it?

I have heard and seen 700 series cards working with the LGA775 socket MB's try and google on the AMD 400 models... or borrow one to test in your MB before buying... other wise I would suggest the GTX750TI OR an used GTX760, GTX 660 or better with your MB too as a consideration? might be a good price break for students?

there is plenty of tests done on gtx 1050ti oc by the known online testers when googled... on about every...
It will bottleneck for fure. That's a very old CPU with two cores that wasn't designed to handle heavy gaming, like the Core i series. If you had to get one though, go with the rx 460 as it is more powerful, but you should really upgrade that CPU, which will mean to upgrade the motherboard.

Honestly, I will save money until you are ready to get a nice decent rig.

Hello... Here is a GPU performance chart I use...http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html

There is always some component slower than the other in a system... but I find getting the best video card for the $$$ is the best way to go... as you can transfer the GPU later to another system.

http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=Radeon+RX+460

The rx 460 seems to have slightly better price to performance at this time.

Your CPU has about half the single thread performance to current intel models... And data I/O's are much faster now... But I was Playing Starcraft2 with a GTX460 and Q9550, back when... and I was having Fun B ) The GPU upgrade should give you a better/similar system to that one.
