Hello, I have been trying to overclock my CPU. Everything was ok until I turned up the CPU to 4800 MHz at 1.3875 which caused the computer to crash. So of course I went back and turned the voltage to 1.4. When i did this everything was oke for 10 minutes or so then the computer froze during the stress test. What's wrong? Did I screw it up? Also my hardware is:
CPU - AMD FX-8350
Cooler - Corsair H100i V2 Cooler
Motherboard - MSI 970A-G43
RAM - Corsair Vengence DDR3 (16GB)
Also at these high voltages and things, under load the CPU runs at 40-50C

Solution

Temperatures? I recommend using this to measure them http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html (assuming your PC doesn't crash by then) If it does try looking at temps in BIOS.
