I have looked all over the place for a solution but I can't find one. I just recently got a new GTX 1050 TI and it won't work correctly it gets really hot and the fan won't spin. Is this because I need to get the drivers? I am not sure if the drivers control the fan or not but it's really concerning...

Sorry I am new to this computer thing. What program could i use to monitor the temps? And the fan only spun when the computer booted up

there are programs for monitoring and/or overclocking that come from the company that made the card. For example i have an AMD card made by MSI so I use MSI Afterburner
Your graphics card may have a cd with drivers or a manuel with a link to the site

My card is a Gigabyte variant so I should use theirs? Or does it matter if I used MSI Afterburner?

Okay so I got MSI Afterburner and it says that my graphics card is "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" and it also does not show the temps of it either

Ohhhh ok I will install the drivers then. My internet is really slow so I'll get back to ya when I can
