There are three of us. I can join them, they can join me, they can't both join me at the same time, and they can't join each other. Any ideas at all?

Well, without knowing all your equipment, seeing what you've got driver-wise and a few other things I can't really fix it from here. But go through and try what I said, and then get the info about the routers. Tom's is more of a try this and try that site for suggestions, not "I'll take my time to google everything based on limited information" site. But the fixes I gave you were the only ones I could come up with with limited info. Post on the dying light community site on steam, too, as I indicated. Lots of times a quick fix can come from there. Good luck!

On steam? Clear your/their caches in Steam. Uninstall/reinstall can do this. Finding and deleting the local content as well. Could also potentially be a driver issue if you all aren't UTD on that stuff.

That I don't know. Did you check that publishers tech support community? I never had that problem with that game. But also you might get a problem if you aren't all using the same version. Like one of you has Bozak or The Following and the others don't. I've never had that problem with that game in coop, so I'm basically just running down the list off the top of my head what kind of issues that it could be. But if all three of you are using the same version on Steam the other things I listed could be responsible. If you have fast ISP's it loads fast after deleting it, so that's always what I do first. But do it with something like iobit uninstaller that nukes your registry entries for it as well. And post in the steam community for the game. Chances are someone there has run into it and knows a fix.

Yeah I called them and they said that we needed an open NAT type, and that we need to have the same number or something like that like, NAT1, NAT2, etc. something like that. Are you familiar with those terms?

Yeah, it's a router protocol. You'll have to check to see what yours/theirs is and are. Google your model. Tell them to do the same.
