I got a brand new gaming PC for Christmas and I was so excited to set it up and play all of the games that I had on my old PC, but instead they didn't launch after I downloaded them. 2 out of 3 games that I currently have do not launch, and I don't know what the problem is.

I thought it might have to do with my Microsoft account. I didn't use the same e-mail when setting up my new PC as I did on my old PC. But I'm only 15 and I'm not an expert on computers, so I have no idea what is wrong. Is it the games themselves or the actual computer?

I really need help. My dad says that if I can't fix the problem soon then he'll return this PC, and I have been wanting it forever and was so happy when I finally got it. I just want to happily play games on my brand new computer. Can anyone please help?

You want to veerify your PC by signing into the Microsoft. You need to add a user account with your Microsoft e-mail. Do you get an error when it doesn't launch? Or it just doesn't launch?

Check the Task Manager to see if anything is trying to process.

In GeForce Expereience, there should be a Download Drivers button int he top right. Click on Express Installation and let it do it's thing.
You probably need to access your old account if they are games purchased though MS. Go here and click on can't access your account if you cant remember the password.

If they are steam games you may have to validate game cache.

I downloaded Minecraft through minecraft.net and I downloaded Geometry Dash and Soundoger+ through steam. Soundoger+ loads, but the other two don't.

Here are my specs:
16GB RAM
AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor
64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor
3.50 Ghz
NVIDIA GTX 950 Graphics Card

Two games are from steam (one of them works) and the other is Minecraft (which doesn't work). How do I validate my game cache?

I haven't updated or downloaded any drivers, could that be the problem? If so, how do I update them? I heard that you can do that through GeForce Experience, which I have, but I don't know how to use that program.

To validate game cache go to library and right click on the game. Select the bottom properties and you will see 5 tabs across the top of the new window. There click on the tab local files and the bottom option will be verify integraty of game cache. This will download any missing files from the game plus reinstall directx.

For the newest drivers I just use steam. In the upper left hand corner you will see the steam drop down menu. Just click on check for video driver updates.
