So basically i was just using the computer normally (browsing, playing games etc.) and suddenly stopped working (it froze so i turned it off and tried turning it back on).
When i turned it on the red led lights were on the motherboard (lights were on the dram and would go on the cpu briefly and go back to dram) and fans were spinning except gpu fan and wont display anything on my monitor.
Did some searching on my laptop and followed some tips. The one tip that kinda worked was taking out the 2 ram sticks and putting only one stick in slot 1.
Doing this the debug light is on but not on dram and cpu but on vga. That means it must be the gpu so i took it out and now it displays on my monitor and boots fine.
So is the gpu dead? or maybe power supply cant handle it? and whats wrong with the ram and why can i only put 1 stick of it?
Any help is appreciated, just wanted to see if i can do something myself to fix it before i return it back to them.

^ More like a bad stick(or sticks) of ram. Can you shoot us picture of the PSU and the innards? On that note, are you yet within warranty? If you are you shouldn't be fiddling with parts since it will void your warranty. Have you made sure your BIOS is up to date?
