new build worked out of case but not in case

hello i just put together a new build for my wife. i did a test build out of the case and when powered on i got a mobo screen on monitor. so i went on to build the computer inside the case. after i got everything done and plugged in, i turned on pc and everything turns on other than i am getting a black screen now. so i started to unplug one by one to see if i could find the issue. i unplugged everything and had to take out of the case. but now even outside of the case i still get a blank screen i dont know what else to do

check for loose connections, cables.
if using a dedicated GPU, try using onboard video. or vise versa.
try each memory stick, one stick at a time, in each DIMM slot separately.
if still no luck;
try a different PSU, and each other component, until you find the culprit.
