My first thought is which version of windows are you running. If you are using Windows 10, then you can do a "clean install" of windows 10 to any blank hard drive or ssd you put in using the windows media creation tool. If so, i'd do a clean install of Windows 10, then just copy what you want to keep off old drive using a sata to usb if you don't have 2 internal sata connectors.

I am running windows 10 and I have a 32 gig usb 3.0 and used alien respawn to make a copy of my hat drive for my ssd I talked to alienlarge and they said to make an os or somthing but they said for further help it would cost 130 dollars

I assume we're talking about a Dell Alienware Alpha PC here right? It's equipped with a 500 GB HDD and you want to transfer all its data to a Samsung 500 GB SSD. That's it, right?

We'll assume that the PC is functioning without any problems, right? It boots without incident and you haven't run into any problems using the machine, right?

If that's the case are you aware that you can "clone" the contents of your present 500 GB HDD to your new Samsung SSD? So the SSD will become your new boot drive, containing all your data and you will have a much speedier PC.

Samsung provides a program - Samsung Data Migration - to carry out the disk-cloning operation. Sometimes it comes bundled with the Samsung SSD you recently purchased, or you can download it from...http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools.html
The program is quite effective and relatively easy-to-use.

Why don't you also do a Google search on "cloning the contents of one drive to another drive". You can obtain a good deal of useful information that way.

Can someone post a video on how to do this with the samsung 850 evo because I downloaded the program you showed me but I am so confused on how to do this it is so much adn I cant plug them in at the same time to format the ssd so I dont know how to use it with a usb

First of all, calm down and get a grip on yourself. As the saying goes, "this is not rocket science". Did you do a Google search as I suggested? Were you not able to obtain detailed information on the process in which you're interested?

Are there specific questions you have re the disk-cloning ("data migration") process? If so, state them and I'm sure you'll receive responses that can help you.

And Happy New Year to both you and Tannern55.
