I got a good deal on the cpu only $40 so I'm going to use it as an extra pc in my living room. The only thing on the list that I haven't bought yet is the power supply.

The monitor is 1920x1080 and it mostly will be used for overwatch, minecraft and maybe some tomb raider.

Price range is about $180 max. I'd rather go used on the gpu side if the cards are better.

Whoa. whoa. whoa. You came here for help. We are just letting you know that the AMD chip is a dead end for gaming. That's probably why you got a good deal. But again, the RX 460 is going to be your best bet without bottle necking.
I know you are on a tight budget, but you may run into some problems with that CPU. You see 8-cores, but it's not as efficient as Intel chips are. My advice? Save up some more, and get a more decent PC. You are going for minimum requirements barely, and it's going to be frustrating at the end.

But for the budget RX 460 is your best bet and right in the budget. Anything higher than that could cause a bottle neck.

Why do you want an AMD CPU?

That is nearly a 6 year old CPU built upon technology which has had no updates during that time. You are getting ready to spend hundreds of dollars on a New Computer when in reality you are spending hundreds of dollars on a 6 year old PC.

You would be far better off with fresh architecture such as the Intel Skylake Core I-3 6100. At $120 it handily beats out any of AMD's much more expensive offerings. Especially in gaming.

If you go with an AMD FX processor you are going to have ZERO upgrade path from day one. You will be at the top rung of the ladder with no where else to go. As opposed to a Core I3 where you can upgrade to a Core I7 in the future and get a significant performance increase which will save you money and extend the life of your PC.

If you must go with AMD then you should really wait a couple months for the ZEN CPU to be released as it has significant performance gains over the current AMD FX processors.

If you are going to buy a new computer then buy a NEW computer.
