Title says it all.

Changes are:

Mobo: MSI A78M-E35 ---> MSI H110M Gaming

CPU: AMD Athlon x4 760k ---> Intel i5 6500 (not OC'ing)

RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 1x8gb DDR3 ---> Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb DDR4

Do I need to factory reset before this? I already have my OS recovery set up on a USB and linked to my MS account. Just need to know if I have to factory reset my PC before.

Thanks.

Setup a Microsoft Account and link your current PC to it , then backup whatever you want to save and perform a clean install on your new setup and activate it with your Microsoft account from within windows. Skip the key entry during setup and activate it from within windows with the registered Microsoft Account.

I am making that USB drive right now. So I will factory reset my computer AFTER the hardware change? On the old system or new?

Ok so I take it I don't need to factory reset before the hardware change. Thanks for the help everyone.
