Computer Automatically Restarts in a Pattern?

My new computer was running fine, but I noticed it was slower than usual. I checked the specs and realised I put the wrong RAM in. So I removed the RAM, realised I'd need to get the right RAM later, and put the RAM back in. Since then, my computer has been unable to start properly. I think it must have something to do with the RAM, or perhaps something I bumped while removing the RAM, but I can't imagine how.

Every time I press the power button, the computer starts and almost immediately restarts. Sometimes it does this twice, other times only once, after which it starts for a few minutes and restarts again. After this point I've turned the computer off, so it might be some sort of pattern, but the pattern doesn't matter, as even when it runs for a few minutes it still doesn't even load up the BIOS or anything. I don't really know how to respond to this. I could try various things, but I don't know what to expect, and I'm worried that there might be an electricity problem that would damage components if I keep trying to start the computer. Can you guys give me a starting point?

I tried those, but it doesn't seem to have fixed anything.
