So I just got a new i5 6600 Processor and a ASRock Z170 Gaming K4/D3 motherboard.

I've heard from a friend that Skylake only supports DDR4 and will support DDR3L at 1.35v.

I currently have G.SKill Ripjaw & G.Skill Ares RAM
Ripjaw being 1.5v and Ares being at 1.6v, will everything be alright?
He said it would kill the CPU faster, all I would like to know is if it'll be alright for me to use these products together without worrying for a year or two.

And another problem, when I connect everything and boot up windows 7, my keyboard and mouse works in BIOS but not in the login screen. Over night I fired up the computer again now the keyboard and mouse will not work at all in BIOS or login screen, but will work fine with my old computer. (Tested all ports and they all work, and if it helps I went from a AMD 8350 to the i5 6600 after a year on the AMD processor.)

Thanks

1.35 Volts is the max the CPU should take. going to 1.5 and 1.6 is not a good idea, stop before you cause permanent damage.
What you want is something like this (https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/jCL7YJ/gskill-memory-f42133c15d16gvr)
I use it with no problem with my i5 6600k.
