Z170 (asus z170m plus) Motherboard, i5 6600k
Turbo/power management settings off.
CPU-Z shows core ratio at x35 (8 - 46)
Tried going higher in core ratio to see if any difference was made, found that it caps at around 3.5GHz each time.
I have checked other threads which say that it is due to a motherboard not supporting overclocks yet I have a Z170 chipset. Could the manufacturer of the motherboard disabled this?
EDIT: I have tried raising the base clock to around 103MHz resulting in higher clocks for CPU.
