My MacBook was overrun with junk files that I installed. So I erased my drive and reinstalled max os sierra on my MacBook. At first it said that MacBook os couldn't be installed and plz restart, but in my 3rd try things happened and it's seemed like it was booting. What happened was that it should the Apple logo and progress bar. It loads decently fast until 3/4 of the way. It gets really slow. Then it gets to 100 but never loads. I've tried restarting and starting it in safe mode. I even let it run for 3 hours but it wouldn't load. What do I do. Can I just plug in my windows 10 disk that I created and run windows 10 then give a product key that I no longer use. Would it brick the mac. I would rather fix the mac although. I would much rather dual boot Mac OS and windows using boot camp. Plz help

Do you have an external hard drive you could use to install Mac OS X onto? There could be a problem with your internal disk. I would try formatting and installing OS X on the external. Just to verify the computer is capable of booting. I would note that if the internal drive is having problems the external could take a long time to boot. As Mac OS X stalls often when a faulty disk is attached.

You can also try a PRAM reset. Hold Command +Option + P + R keys while booting. Wait for it to chime twice then release.

Running Windows would not brick the Mac. It is just another PC.
