I am fairly experienced in computer building but am really confused. I took out my old GPU, and put in a new EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1060 FTW, and now when i turn it on, everything flashes for a split second then turns off, my fans spin a short bit, my case lights light up, my motherboard lights are all lit up. I checked everything i could think of, the computer wont start up either when i take it out, wont run off of integrated graphics, but when i put in my old GPU everything goes back to normal. Note: im using a molex to pci-e 6 pin adapter as my second pci-e 6 pin into the adapter that turns two 6 pin pci-e into a 8 pin. It did the same thing even with only one 6pin out of two.

I had a similar trouble a while ago (moved all my components to a new case and changed the graphic card, only I changed to a 1050ti). Try to reset the CMOS. Check your motherboard manual to find the cmos jumper, unplug your PSU, and reset the jumper.
