So after trying to turn my computer on today it will turn on but with no post, black screen and no beeping. I've tried removing everything one by one to see if I can find the issue but no luck. All I've seen on line is it's usually a psu issue or a Moba issue but all the answers that people have said worked don't exactly say what the problem is. Any tips?

Should I try look at the cpu?

Hello... 1) If your not getting any Fan movement or LED's, the first place to look would be the PS... check all of it's connections and then try a different PS as a test... CPU's are pretty tuff and I would NOT look (fiddle) there first.

2) Your case power button sends a signal to your Power supply to start... through your MB pins at J1... you could short those pins together to start the PS or determine if your case PS switch/connection is the problem.

3) it is possible to start your PS too (bench test) without it connected to the System/MB as a test.

I am getting led lights all fans on the computer, psu, video card cpu are working. I know the test to see if the psu is working by putting the pin between the mb connector trick but that would only determine if I can turn the psu on, no?

I also bot a new psu and swapped it, only thing that changed is I can now actually then the Power button off on the computer and ok the motherboard, I don't have to unplug or turn it off on the back of the psu.
