Got a Intel core m.2 600p 512 GB SSD from boxing day. Hooked it up to my comp a year old with a MSI b150 gaming M3 Mobo. But it is not showing asked my friend they don't have the answers I have to newest bios version. Plz help

Solution
Ouch! Your problem is simple. The Intel 600p is a PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. The motherboard in question only supports SATA-6 on the m.2 slot. It is completely incompatible and will never be recognized without a PCIe to M.2 adapter card. I can find nothing that suggests otherwise and everything that suggests it is so. I had the opposite problem myself. My MoBo will accept a PCIe NVMe SSD in the m.2 slot, but not a SATA one.

You may need to take it back and get a SATA based m.2 (or the 2.5" version) SSD instead.
