Ouch! Your problem is simple. The Intel 600p is a PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. The motherboard in question only supports SATA-6 on the m.2 slot. It is completely incompatible and will never be recognized without a PCIe to M.2 adapter card. I can find nothing that suggests otherwise and everything that suggests it is so. I had the opposite problem myself. My MoBo will accept a PCIe NVMe SSD in the m.2 slot, but not a SATA one.
You may need to take it back and get a SATA based m.2 (or the 2.5" version) SSD instead.
