Ok. I am a pretty nerdy but I have never actually put a pc together because I have never had the money till now. For right now I won't have enough money for a graphics card so I am just going with integrated graphics. I made errors that you guys will yell at me for but I am going to chalk it up to rookie mistakes. Already went thought the step list like 5 times so please don't tell me to read it.

Specs:
Intel Core i7 6700k
MSI PC Mate B150 Motherboard
PNY 240GB SSD
RipJaws 1 x 16gb ram
500W Thermalake Power Supply

So first, the reasons I think the system isn't working. I built the pc on my bed (yep) and the motherboard at many times was in direct contact with sheets and cotton clothing, while I was standing on carpet building it with no ground (i was yoloing too hard). The system never started up normally so I am thinking I messed up the motherboard somehow. I also put the 24pin in while the system was screwed into the case and bent it to the point of touching the case (there make them near impossible to install these huh?) which I found out later wasn't smart (I am not sure if it touched the case or not but I flexed it pretty good). What really worries me though is the 300$ cpu is not working, so I am hoping it is the 80$ motherboard and hoping I didn't somehow break it. I took the cpu cooler off and the cpu was not getting hot, the fans would spin though. I have reset the cmos or bios or whatever by taking out the battery. I have a red switch on my power supply the goes from 230 to 115 and i tried it at 115 (yolo) and got instead a dram red light, then after a few seconds it restarts (assuming the power isn't enough for the system or something). Well there is a bunch of stupid stuff I did to deserve a non posting 800$ pc. I see no bent pins after looking so long, and I cleaned the bottom of the cpu with 91% alchohol (is that ok?) and nothing changes. I recently noticed some white reside on the front of the board (small) and a some on the back by the cpu power outlet. I now have the motherboard outside of the pc on the anti static thing, which i jut found out after i heard that advice is also static ridden. I am being sent a speaker in the mail so i can hear the code but what would you guys say I should return for defects, the motherboard cpu or psu.
