Hi. I just built new PC and have a Asrock z-170 Extreme4 mobo. This might seem like a silly question but on start up the Drdebug cycles through a number of codes but then don't light up again after booting into windows. Is this normal?

Two codes I recognised where 62 and 96 which have to do with CMOS and PCI-E devices. So far my GPU seems to work fine.

As for the CMOS I have no idea what it is for and I don't really have any cables that attach to the pins. Is it of any importance?

Thanks.

This is normal and is just part of the startup diagnostics. If everything appears to be working properly, then ignore the indicator. Game on!

BTW, the CMOS reference is to your BIOS. There are no cables attached to that. Just ignore unless there is a problem.
