Can I add a second HD to my ASUS G752VL?

I want to add a second drive to my ROG laptop. Specificly I want to make a SSD my system drive and make the existing hard drive into a secondary drive. If the dvdrom is eliminated can I do this?

You can use an M.2 SSD for your boot drive and use the current mechanical HDD as your storage.
