I'm new to the world of SSD cards and no little about them. I came across a thread (which I can no longer find) that said that in order to get the full speed out of the Samsung 960 EVO SSD on my ASUS Maximus Hero VII motherboard, that I would need an adapter card? The thread said it would work in the M2 slot, but the full capability/speed of the SSD wouldn't be recognized? Do I need to buy an adapter card as well? I've included a link for my motherboard below. Also, would the 950 Pro be a better choice? This is for a computer used just for gaming, I mainly play the Battlefield series. Any help is greatly appreciated.
