Hello everyone and thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I'm putting together a system on PCpartpicker.com and i get this msg when trying to select any M.2 SSD. The mother board I'm using is the Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO ATX LGA1151.
The motherboard M.2 slot #0 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6Gb/s ports are disabled.
Should I exercise the option to, "Flag compatibility notes as incorrect?"
If I'm going to be populating 2 SATA 6Gb/s ports what does this mean in terms of other upgrades? I've been looking at the specs of the board at https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/MAXIMUS-VIII-HERO. All advice is greatly appreciated!
