Hey Guys.
So I am going for a new build. I'm going to be using it mainly for gaming ( i know i5 would be better but still). So far i've made a list of things on partpicker and was hoping you guys could check it out and maybe shed some light on it. Keep in mind these are the products that i am thinking about getting but if you do recommend something better than I'll surely consider it. I have not been able to select a PSU as many of the companies dont have their product in PAKISTAN (Yeah i'm in Pakistan). Can you see if there is any fault in the build. Should i wait for the 7th gen i7 7700k or not ? Or maybe Ryzen ? (never used an amd cpu). Also should i wait for the RX 490 or go for 1070? (As i dont know what price range will it be in. Do inform me if you have any idea.).

Bro what is the difference between Corsair's RMi and RMx series ?

Also bro the thermaltake toughpower DPS G line is gold and is in tier 2 of that psu list if im not wrong.

I'd stay away from the Corsair RM 750/850. It's a pretty safe bet considering the age of most of the rest of Corsair's units there that those 2 units are original releases, built by Chicony, which have very bad thermal properties to the point where they got dumped in tier 4. Good outputs, but overheat shutdowns were prevalent.

The RMx and RMi are pretty much the same unit, biggest difference is in the more digital nature of the RMi which allows it to be linked to Corsair Link software. If you really have no use for Corsair Link, the RMx is the better option even if for nothing more than its cheaper usually.

Yeah, it's a decent case for sure. But nobody else but you has to look at it on a daily basis. Cases are extremely personal, along with mice and keyboards. There's only 1 real criteria when choosing a case. Does it fit your needs. In other words, does it have removable hdd cages for long gpus, does it have the fan capabilities, does it have wiring space behind the mobo, windows, optical bays, is it the right size, Needs. The rest is aesthetics. Some prefer flashy, gamer style cases like the Apevia lines, some prefer the sedate look like the fractals, some want towers, some minis or cubes. Those are aesthetics, personal to every individual. I personally have my pc in a cubby built into the desk, sits just above the floor, so top mount USB's were much more important than many cases front mount, for example.

If the Noctis covers your needs, and you like the looks, it's good. Cases are one of the few components of any pc where quality can be sacrificed to some extent, in order to fit owners criteria.
