Hi there!
I've got a question for you folks: is it possible for a simple BIOS update to increase a system's overall performance?
Here's the story: I've been fooling around on my PC as usual, and it came to my mind that maybe I'd have to update my motherboard BIOS since it's almost three years old now
I went to ASUS's homepage, downloaded the latest BIOS update for my motherboard (version 3501) and installed it.
The system booted up fine, I did a quick check with CPUZ, GPUZ and OpenHardwareMonitor, everything seemed to be in order, so I've fired up Fallout 4, and felt it running much, much smoother than before
Is it possible, or it may be a placebo-like effect?
(I'm running the game in 4K @60FPS on a single 1070)
