Screen turns black after 5 min of playing csgo or lol or w.e game i've downloaded, even with TIBIA. I've checked so many things, like if i have my screen to turn off after XX minutes, checking my performance options like energy saving, checking if it's unplugged and opening the case and reinstalling the gpu (which is a GT620), checking if it's overheating or checking the temperature on everything with Open Hardware Monitor, but none of these things work and im desperate, because everything is "right", i checked the bios but nothing strange shows up.

My monitor is a samsung 1366x768 60hz (ik it's bad.) and my cpu is a i5-3330.

Something odd that i've realise is that it doesnt matter if i only play 3 min and alt+tab, when i spend the 2 minutes left of normal shut down time, it always turns off.

My monitor doesnt say anything and it just stop working, and the red power led starts blinking.

Btw: i've tried with diferent hdmi cables and monitors, with different resolutions and it always do the same thing.

Usually i had to restart the pc by pressing the start button for like 5 seconds, bc there's no way that the monitor is going to turn on again, it's like my pc keeps working like if nothing had happened.

yeah so your screen turns off but everything else carries on

this sounds like a screen saver bug.. have you tried turning on a screen saver and changing the time till it comes on to a really long time ?

yes they are already built into window you dont need to download one but there was a bug that id you stop using a screen saver it would still time out your screen in windows 8.1 and the cure was to turn the screen saver back on then change the time.

It's kinda odd but i had screensaver off, however it was set on 5 min so i'll try and put it to the max to see if that works.
