I own a Dell Inspiron 15R and had to replace the hard drive because it failed. The laptop will get stuck in a loop of turning on and off. I'll turn it on then the screen will go black and the top right corner it will read "Checking Media..." it will then fail to find the media and then it wants me to press any button to reboot again.
I thought that the laptop couldn't detect the hard drive correctly but I ran a diagnostic test by clicking F12 when I saw the Dell logo pop up and the laptop checked the Hard drive as it went down the list of detecting problems. It checked fairly quickly so I don't know if it can't detect it or checking the hard drive shouldn't take a while.
Does anyone on here know what the problem could be?
