Motherboard: Asus P8Z77V-Deluxe (built-in Wifi)


RAM: 2x8GB Blue Kingston HyperX DDR3


SSD: None currently installed, but I can add a brand new 120GB for $55 or a 240GB for $99


Hard Drive: 800GB Western Digital Green


Graphics Card: Nvidia Gigabyte GTX 1060 6GB (purchased brand new for this build)


Power Supply: Antec VP500P


Case: Corsair Carbide 400R


Windows 8.1

yes , upgrade the windows to 10 for free and get the SSD soon as you can if you can get it first and put windows on it you will boot up super fast. antec psus are a bit crappy tbh but they arent dangerously bad like others are. its all in all not a bad place to start .

The free update to Win 10 for the general public ran out in July 2016.

I wouldn't use a WD Green as the primary OS drive.
Change that to a WD Blue, or Seagate something. And also add an SSD.
