Graphics, PSU, MOBO Compatibility

My graphics took a dump and I got a used MSI Radeon HD 5770 Hawk ( I know its old, but hey we can't all afford new stuff). How do I know if it is compatible with my ASUS M4A78LT-M motherboard and my Ac Bel HBA008-ZA1GT 350 PSU. I have plugged it into my board, and of course the fan powers up, but the monitor is NOT recognizing anything being plugged in. Is this a board problem or psu problem? The cpu is an amd athlon II x2 220

could be the psu cannot supply the power for the gpu. if not then try diff connections vga dvi hdmi go into bios using inter graded gpu on your mobo
