Which 500$ build is better?

Really not much difference.
For fast action games, the RX480 build is better, but it costs more also.

To save some, pick the cheaper case.
You can save some with a H110 motherboard.

The superflower psu should be better and is probably worth it.


I will never again build without a ssd for the "C" drive. It makes everything you do much quicker.
120gb is minimum, it will hold the os and a handful of games.
But, many things default to the "C" drive.
When a SSD nears full, it will lose performance and endurance.
240gb is the recommended minimum.

If you can go 240gb, or 500gb you may never need a hard drive.

You can defer on the hard drive...

Uh, first off one is in US dollars and the other is in Pounds, as it's UK sellers with different taxes. So the $495 system costs about 400 Pounds, and the second is 540 Pounds or $667. As far as parts go, the 480 is a much better card than the 1050 ti. Other than that, as a personal note I haven't had good luck with Toshiba drives. They ran much hotter and 2 of my 3 failed within the first 4 months, the 3rd is about 6 months old now so fingers crossed.

1st of all this is going to be my first build so im quite struggling with the parts :/
Right now I got a laptop with 500gb hdd and its kinda full so I'll need like 1TB

The only other 2, Seagate and Western Digital. Just google the specific drive you're looking at. Every manufacturer comes out with a bad model. So check around a little to see if the one you're looking at is known for high failure rates. The Toshiba's I had were three different models (laptop, 1 TB, 2 TB) and they all ran hot and only the 1 TB is still going.

Since you are on a budget, I recommend a 250gb Samsung evo. either 750 0r 850 for windows.
It makes all the difference in the world for everyday performance.

Put your most active files and games on it.

Buy a hard drive for slower bulk storage.
Video files tend to be large and sequential in nature so they would be the best candidates for a hard drive.

Western digital is probably the most reliable.
WD blue or red would be fine.
