Everything was working fine beforehand and I went to just give my computer a fresh restart and now when I try to boot up I just get a black screen literally nothing. Everything inside the pc seems to be working all fans are going etc. When I boot up I get a single short beep like everything is alright. I'm not the best with computers so I'm pretty lost in the dark right now, I've tried every suggestion I've come across. Do you guys think it could be my power supply even if it seems to be on and going? It is a cheap one that came with my pre built a couple years ago, if anyone could help me I'd be very grateful, here are some of my specs: 750 TI, amd fx-6300, 8gb ram ddr3, MSI motherboard, cheap 500w power supply. (Sorry for the horrible typing I'm on my phone) Thanks in advance.

Solution
I think both the CPU and motherboard are likely fine. This sounds more like a GPU issue. Do you have the option to change your video cable (connecting to the monitor)?

Not ATM am going to best buy today to get a new power supply. Will probably pick up a cheap GPU to test as well. I just really hope it's not my motherboard :-\
