I have 2 SSD's in my system my windows drive and then a drive for games. The windows drive is a 120gb SanDisk SSD Plus and the games drive a 250gb Samsung 840 EVO. While attempting to transfer between these 2 drives the rate is typically around 600 kB/s. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

500kilobytes/s seems slow, but remember SSDs are FAST, but tend to write slower than they read.

Always try to keep some spare space for the drive to do housekeeping and please ensure you are in AHCI mode.

Its likely to be the buffer slowing it down as well, they don't have a very big cache and though ssd can read fast, its slower writing and needs to wait for that to happen.
