If your laptop does not have an AMD or Nvidia discrete graphics card (ie switchable graphics for more powerful graphics processing when required) you are going to struggle to run games at decent FPS rates using the Intel HD graphics chip.

Your laptop is obviously not designed for gaming if it doesn't have a discrete graphics card, and according to the specs I've looked up for that model, it doesn't have one.

It really depends on the bottleneck. A PC without enough ram will experience regular stuttering and sudden frame drops (especially one without a dedicated gpu).

In your case, a RAM upgrade would be beneficial to allow more headroom for the intel HD graphics but it probably won't eliminate your problem. What games are you trying to run?
