I recently upgraded my graphics card from a GTX 550ti to a GTX 1050ti, used driver sweeper to get rid of the old drivers before installing the new ones (so far so good). I then played a game, Dishonored 2, on PC via steam and it played fine (no issues). However, whenever I shutdown my computer or restart it, the game won't launch any more. It starts running, goes to a black screen for a few seconds, then kicks me back to my desktop and ends the game program without any error message or anything. It almost seems like its using the wrong GPU to run the game and fails? Furthermore, if i uninstall and reinstall my GPU driver to any recent version, the game will work again without problems for as long as I want, even if i save and exit the game and then re-load it, up until I restart or shutdown my computer (putting the computer in sleep mode there are no issues). No issues with any other programs or games on my computer. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it?
