So I bought a Dell inspiron thinking I could upgrade it down road to do vr. Pssh. Nope. Any who new tower case newother board and graphics card and two 4 g RAM cards. Can get display working thru mobo graphics but as soon as I install gtx 1060 drivers I get no display unless BIOS is set to just run off of mobo graphics to install drivers then If I switch BIOS to PCI graphics I get no displays. Now if I set BIOS to mobo graphics but enable BIOS to auto detect or switch between PCI and mobo I can use mobo graphics but gyx doesn't out put anything. It's listed in my devices manager list. But as soon as I tell BIOS to use PCI only I loose all display. Please help. Not an expert by any means. Got this far from not knowing much yesterday morning. Didn't have to reinstall windows or anything first start up was. Nothing but black screen. All fans and lights on tower were working. Took taking out graphics card completely to even get a display going. And that was a huge win in my book. But now I wanna use my new graphics card.
