TL;DR: PC keeps shutting off when it goes to sleep and goes to the "Windows was not shutdown properly" screen on bootup. Updating drivers, changing power settings, virus scanning, and sfc /scannow have not worked. Problem started occurring after December 23rd.

Hello, my computer keeps turning off when I put it to sleep. It even turned off when I was away from the computer and it automatically went to sleep mode. Everytime I boot it up, it goes to the "Windows was not shut down properly" screen. At first I thought it was because of me ending svchost.exe for taking 25% CPU, however the problem still persists even when it's still running. I've updated video drivers, changed power settings, done a virus scan (the off-chance this is being caused by malware), and did an sfc /scannow. None of those fixes worked. Hibernating works, however I'd prefer just to keep it in sleep mode because it's faster and it doesn't mess with my light settings for my RGB keyboard. My PC just turned three years, and it has seen several days of abuse and high temps.

The problem started occurring after December 23rd.
