Current Specs
MotherBoard: Asus M5A99FX
Processor: AMD FX 6300 (6-core)
GPU: 2 Radeon R7 260x (crossfire)
600W power

I'm looking to get a better graphics card(s), what would y'all recommend?

Solution
well your CPU might bottleneck some higher end cards but i would go for a rx 470 or gtx 1050ti IF you are on a tight budget,if not you could go one step further and get a rx 480 or gtx 1060 which also depending on where you live shouldn't be expensive

well anything good would be hindered by your weak cpu

toss in an rx 470 and call it a day, you will not get full use out of it, but you can swap it into a new build

I also suggest a aftermarket cpu cooler to overclock the cpu

So if i were to get a better CPU that would open up my options more? Is my motherboard hindering anything, like not having 3.0 PCI E slot? Lastly what CPU would you recommend?
Thanks for the help!

your CPU should work well with rx 470 and gtx 1050ti or lower but if you decide to go for a better GPU then you might see slight bottlenecks, nothing to really be afraid of so changing your CPU probably wouldn't be necessary if you don't go for some beast of a GPU. Every GPU must say which slot it uses so you can easily check if your motherboard is compatible when you decide on the GPU that you want to put in. So as long as your motherboard has the right slot and you don't go for something like a gtx 1070 or anything above rx 480 you should be good to go
