I have CML16GX3M2A1600C10 installed and would like another CML16GX3M2A1600C10 installed totalling 32GB RAM.
Would there be any problems installing 2 separate 2x8GB kits?

I would advise against it. Despite them being from the same manufacturer, even the same model, there can be serious compatibility issues and you'd be better off buying an actual 32GB kit. Trust me, I've mixed kits in the past and despite voltage adjustments BSOD would occur randomly, computer would lock up randomly. Sometimes the screen would never come out of stand-by, forcing me to restart the whole system and lose my work...it's just a mess.
Forget it if you don't want headaches. I ended up replacing my RAM with a 32GB kit too. What a bliss.
A 4x8GB kit is a set of modules tested together and the manufacturer guarantees there aren't issues with them - it's a much safer bet.

Interesting. At this precise moment I have a mixed setup for 32GB.
I rarely get blue screens and have the machine running for weeks at a time.

Slot #1 Module Corsair 8192 MB (DDR3-1600) - XMP 1.3 - P/N: CML8GX3M1A1600C10
Slot #2 Module Corsair 8192 MB (DDR3-1337) - XMP 1.3 - P/N: CML16GX3M2A1600C10
Slot #3 Module Corsair 8192 MB (DDR3-1600) - XMP 1.3 - P/N: CML8GX3M1A1600C10
Slot #4 Module Corsair 8192 MB (DDR3-1337) - XMP 1.3 - P/N: CML16GX3M2A1600C10

HOWEVER, I really cannot over-clock properly as it can become erratic - freezing, BSOD, lag.
Also running at the normal 800Mhz is also flaky. This results in forced under-clocking to achieve stability. Even though they are all meant to be 1600Mhz using XMP.

Frequency 668.5 MHz - Ratio 1:5
Timings 9-9-9-24-2 (tCAS-tRC-tRP-tRAS-tCR)

I will take a gamble and purchase another 16GB kit, with matching specs.

Well, doc, it's your money and your time, after all.
Go with it and see how it goes! It doesn't always have to be problematic and I hope yours won't be.
