What parts should I get for a moderate gaming desktop PC for under £350 pounds?

I really enjoy gaming, however I cannot run newer and more demanding games such as Fallout 4 or Just Cause 3 on the laptop I currently have. I would love to also get better frame rates etc while I play. Therefore I am thinking of building my own PC, but I don't want to spend huge amounts of money. What are the cheapest parts, or bundles online that I can buy that will still do the job to a good standard?

Issue is that a Windows license is almost 100 on it's own. For higher end games you need to almost double your budget unless you are OK with playing games on low settings and possibly on lower resolutions.

Start with the basic layout, motherboard, PSU and case are about 130-150 depending on the case you like for a low end...
For budget gaming, you'll want at least an Intel dual core with hyperthreading, a quality power supply in the 430W-500W range, an RX 460 2gb or GTX 1050, and a 1080p monitor.

One other possibility is to buy a used system, something based on a Sandy bridge i5 like a 2400, then pop a videocard in it. Those ideas should give you an idea of what to start looking at.

Windows license is 100
Lower end gaming card for medium settings 100
CPU (the i3-6100 is the lowest you should go with ) 120 --- you can also wait a bit till the new AMD chips are out and see how those are for the prices
8 GB of RAM 45-50
keyboard/mouse/monitor 150-200 depending on quality and size
Hard drive, really and SSD is a must, 256 gb for games 80 for a PNY 240 GB

These are US prices, but you are quite a bit over your budget.

As above, used is also an option, just make sure you see the system running before you buy it in a good test like a benchmark.
