You'd think that especially with new RAM modules and a new motherboard, being a little bit stiff to start off with, installing the RAM while the mobo is sitting on it's box could be a little dangerous due to the possibility of the motherboard bending due to force. Could this cause issues later down the line? Ik that a lot of other people do it on the box but when I did work experience for school at a computer repair store they told me to install the RAM on a hard surface rather than the box.
