Ever since I setup SLI with a 2nd GTX 980 Classified for my PC, the monitor will not power on out of sleep or on start up. I have to manually turn the monitor off and on again to get it to display.

Any ideas what's causing this?

I tested the SLI to make sure each card is working evenly and they are. I checked my bios settings but didn't see anything there to modify that would help unless I just missed it. Also adjusted my power settings from normal to performance. Also looked at my monitor settings and also switched from HDMI to a Display Port cable. I updated GeForce Experience driver as well.

I'm running an Asus ASUS VG248QE 24" 144hz 1080p monitor

What else should I try?

Solution
I think I figured this out. It at least solved the issue of the monitor not booting up from shutdown. I disabled hybrid mode in the power settings. I've attached a screenshot so you can see the path I took to get there in case anyone else has a similar problem with running SLI with Nvidia cards

Also it does take a bit longer for the computer to shutdown when disabling this setting. I'd say about 20-30 seconds for a full shutdown.

If you have a different way to accomplish this please feel free to post it. Usually more than one way to skin a cat :)
