I was just ussing my computer after a while of using it just for an online game where my roomate had his wireless keyboard and mouse pluggee. Everytime he tried to use my headphones it would connect and disconnect for a while.

Now I moved and connectee everything, played for a while on the Pc and it was ok until the controller i had connected started working but getting me back to the keyboard menu mode. I restarted and when trying to write my password the keyboard wouldnt write, i had to press the same letter about a hundred times and it would probably react, however when i pressed backspace it would appear as if i had written a digit? When i managed to log in and opened word it told me i was preasing the CTRL key (it was not stuck, i cleaned and changed keyboarda and all) and even sometimes when Im doing nothing it sounds as if im connecting and disconnecting usb ports.

Im guessing is a problem with the USB ports because all of them constantly connect and reconnect for a while and not even changing keyboards the problem dissapeared.

Solution
go to the motherboard vendors website, update the BIOS and the motherboard drivers to the current version.
then for each hardware device on the usb ports you will want to go to the hardware vendor and pick up the most current driver for your operating system.
you can also download usbview.exe http://www.thewindowsclub.com/usb-device-tree-viewer-download (see end of page for link to the .exe)
this tool is useful in detecting certain errors on the usb subsystem.

I had two items do that to me, a bluetooth dongle and a hard drive. The bluetooth dongle would do that no matter where it was plugged in. I figured it was bad. The USB hard drive, though, would only do that if plugged directly into the system. If plugged into a USB hub, it is fine. I believe it was because the ports from the motherboard weren't able to supply enough power.

So, try your controller through a powered hub and see it if makes a difference.
