how many ways are there to connect a case fan

hi I'm building a PC for my grampa and I was wondering how many ways are there to connect a case fan because the motherboard i using only has 1 chassis fan connector so I need and 92mm fan that cant use a motherbaord fan connecter so i think i would use a molex commecter but im not sure here is my case,PSU and motherboard

There are tons of ways to do it, with many types of adapters. You do want to make sure that there is a fan connected to the cpu fan header, and that the cpu fan runs. running case fans off of molex adapters or fan splitters, or fan controllers is fine

Loads of other ways however i reccomend if your fan i a 4 pin you use a molex from your psu

just curious: what has the type of adapter to do with the pins on the fan?

as long as you're using a "straight" molex (no lower voltage etc) there will be zero difference on how the fan will work, no matter if its a 1to2 or a molex plug.
