Hi everyone.

so, some days ago i bought an older gamer PC for my girlfriend (She doesn't play any heavy games, just LoL, does some browsing, movies, music etc) The thing is tho, it's not running that fast. Why i am a bit sceptical is, because it almost has the same specs as mine does, and i manage to run battlefront on a little under medium graphics, and even battlefield 1, on lower settings.

The specs i have:
Nvidia geforce 560 GTX 1gb.
Intel CPU i5-2500 3,33 ghz quadcore.
8g ram.
1TB harddisk 72k.
intel motherboard.

her specs /in the PC i am asking about)

Nvidia gforce 730 GTX 1GB.
Intel CPU i5-3450 3,10 GHZ, quadcore.
500gb harddisk (don't know the RPM on it, but a china one)
an MSI motherboard.
8gb ram.

Something is not compatible, or running right on it. I am not sure what. I thought that maybe the harddisk is shit, and putting a 1TB 7200rpm in would help, or even putting my old gtx 560 double fan in, instead of the 730 gtx that's in there already. ( I just upgraded my card to an MSI 970 GTX twin frozen.)

I did a partition on it yesterday, after i reinstalled windows again (windows 10 home) to 80gb c: for windows and the remainer on the d: for games and other stuff etc.

I haven't done all the drivers, only internetdriver, graphic card and a few others, have a hunch that what is wrong with it, is not driver related, but the hardware.

Appreciate the help, thank.

Best regards,
Martin.

Hi.

And thank you for the reply!

I will switch it right away, feel a bit stupid for not doing the research on that myself,
just went with my hunch, as in the GTX 730 had more power, than the GTX 560, but
something did seem off.

Would it be a significant power up, switching the HDD to a 1TB 72000 RPM?
Or should i look else where, for speeding up.

again, thanks,
Appreciate your answer.

Best regards.
