I have been having an issuse with my computer this morning where I launched it and every 2 seconds it has an fps drop I don't know what the problem could be as the problem only just occured. The only thing I could think of is me pushing my graphics card to far if thats even possible as yesterday I was playing arizona sunshine and decided to go on high setting even though all games say you need a 1080 heres my computers parts

  • Gtx 1060 6 gb version (I installed this about a week ago)
    8 gb of ram
    Intel Core i5-4570 cpu
    windows 8.1 pro

I also did a check if it was fps drop so on portal 2 I would get 160fps to 60 then go to dark red every 1-2 seconds

If someone could help I would be very grateful thankyou.

    1. Post full PC specs, including power supply
    2. Post thermals/temperatures when playing games (both cpu and gpu).
    3. Check CPU and GPU utilization in Afterburner
    4. Try with other drivers if none of the above gives anything suspicious, uninstall drivers with DDU first.

My cpu temperature is 45 degrees and my gpu is 31 degrees
Im not 100% sure what my components are I will have to have a look in a bit
I will be a minute updating my drives it must of been 2-3 years ago when I got this pc and I haven't done anything with my drivers
