I have a lenovo t500 with a intel core 2 duo and graphics card is Mobile intel chipset family 4,and i don't have "Graphics Properties" on desktop context menu, and nothing can make it work,so can someone help me?i wanna make it for performance

I've looked at the spec sheet for the T500 series and it doesn't appear to have switchable graphics (ie a discrete graphics card as well as the Intel GPU). Your model only has the Intel GPU which means games and applications cannot be configured to use high performance graphics because it's not available on that model.

Not that,i mean, when you right click desktop you should hava "Graphics properties" where you should configure intel graphics,i have another laptop and i can right click desktop and click graphics properties to change settings,i mean,it is gone on this laptop,i know i have had the option, but not it is gone

Yes, you're right, it should be there, I just checked on my wife's single GPU laptop.

You should still be able to get to the Intel GPU settings from it's applet in Control Panel though, I mean how often do you actually need to access it anyway, isn't Control Panel convenient?

Try re-installing the Intel graphics driver for your laptop model from Lenovo's support section.
It's UK site is here: http://support.lenovo.com/gb/en

It's important to use the correct geographical site so if it's not a UK model you must first select the appropriate region/country by clicking on the UK flag at top-right and selecting from the drop-down list.

Well you'll be struggling with only only an Intel graphics chip in that case.

That laptop model wasn't built with gaming in mind, otherwise it would have had an additional high-performance GPU fitted (Nvidia or AMD) which you could select as the default GPU for each game you install (hence the term "switchable graphics").

With games, the GPU and it's abilities is more crucial than any other single component, the Intel GPU just doesn't cut it (not for recent and new games anyway).

Having the last drivers available is a good idea, but in truth, there's no significant performance you're going to eke out once you have the laptop updated. Simply put, it's basic integrated graphics that are a decade old and will only work effectively for gaming if you're talking Solitaire or games so old that we're talking DOS.

Did you reinstall the last updated driver?

(And regardless, it won't really do anything for you)
