Will a PSU with a 360W peak be able to run a ZOTAC gtx 1050ti?

My PC currently has a:

intel i7-4770 3.4Ghz
8gb ddr3 ram
Geforce GT 640 4gb
and a not that popular 300W psu with a peak of 360W ( the pc is an ASUS prebuilt and the psu is the one it had with it )

As the title of my thread says, will i be able to buy and use a gtx 1050ti without any problems?
im buying the gtx 1050ti zotac mini edition so there wont be any 6-pin connectors on the GPU and its gonna run off my motherboard. Can i use my current PSU for like 2-3 months and then buy a 450W one without having any problems? Thanks for your time.

That system will barely use 250 watts with the 1050ti.

While I would still replace it because its cheap, it should work ok. All the sentiment above about a cheap PSU is true, you still don't want to use one, but it will run it no problem.
Not worth the risk. These low quality units never meet their claimed spec and some achieve less than 50% before failing. The risk is when a PSU fails it can damage other components, this risk is greater with low quality PSU's which have less safety features built in.

Thanks a lot for you help, you guys keep on saying that it might burn/destroy something if the psu dies, what can be burnt/destroyed if it does though?

A cheap PSU without the proper protections will not protect you from things like power surges and shorts inside the system so hence in a worst case scenario where a PSU failing would just kill itself, it may take some of your equipment with it.

As for exploding, its very rare for that to happen, and only in the by far worst possible PSUs.
